“We Believe” was a letter drive started by Michael’s daughter, Meagan, while he was going through treatments for prostate cancer. She wanted him to know that, as frightening as it was, he had the support of many people. It started with a simple email to friends, who were asked to send her Dad a letter, or note that said “We Believe”. This would signified that they believed in him, and what he was fighting for.

From there people began forwarding the email to friends and so on, and so on. The results were overwhelming to Mike and his family. Receiving letters, notes and drawing from longtime friends
and complete strangers who were touched by the message, even children would send in a drawing that had a very simple but powerful message on them, "We Believe". It seemed there was abundance of support. It helped the family endure, and keep having hope.

They still believe.
